What’s Included In A Forklift Training Course?

Forklift training courses are split into two parts, theoretical learning and practical learning. The theoretical aspect of the course will ensure you are knowledgeable in all aspects of operating the machine including how to safely load goods, technical control, inspecting and servicing forklifts, how to manage potentially dangerous situations and health and safety guidelines. The practical side of the training course allows you to master the skill of safely operating a forklift truck and how to safely handle and lift loads.

Our Forklift Training Courses Include:

VNA (very narrow aisle truck) – a narrow aisle forklift truck, generally used in warehouses with limited space to stack goods or pick orders. This forklift has a unique control method, they are guided through guidance rails or navigation. The operator can stop at ground level or at the level of the task being performed.

Counterbalance: the basic forklift – one of the most popular and most commonly used forklift trucks in the UK. The load on the front is balanced by the weight of the forklift itself, and they can be powered by LPG, diesel or electricity.

Reach truck: forklift with forks on the side – designed to work in tight storage spaces, the reach truck is useful for stacking pallets at height and for transporting pallets.

PPT (pedestrian powered truck) – working at ground level, this tool has the ability to stack pallets and significantly reduces the amount of manual handling of heavy and bulky items.

Bendi/flexi forklift: articulated forklift, with independently turning forks – combining the advantaged of a reach truck and a counterbalance forklift, the bendi/flexi forklift is designed for maximum efficiency. Their special design allows them to be turned 90° in both directions.
